Library and files
The Library menu works with the official editor's file formats:
- Open a preset file (⌘O). It loads as an edit, so use Save to Pedal to keep it.
- Export the current preset (⇧⌘E).
- Receive a setlist, or all 8, from the pedal into a file.
- Send a setlist or bundle file to the pedal.
- Rename the setlist on screen. Right-clicking the setlist menu in the sidebar does the same. On iPhone and iPad, Rename Set List is in the library.

KidneyHD opens files from any of these models and saves them with your pedal's extension.
Double-click a file in the Finder to open it in KidneyHD. A preset loads as an edit. A setlist file replaces the setlist on screen, and a bundle replaces all 8 setlists. Both ask first.
HD Desktop setlist files (.hbs) share their extension with Handlebars web templates. To open one, use Library › Send Setlist from File, or the Finder's Open With menu.
Every Send asks first. Before it writes, it saves the presets it will replace in Application Support/KidneyHD Edit/Backups.
