iPhone and iPad

The iPhone and iPad app edits the pedal through a Mac that shares it (see Sharing). The pedal stays plugged into the Mac, and Save to Pedal writes through it. "Try the Demo Pedal" works without a Mac.

The app has Chain, Library, Pedal and Setup tabs. On iPad and on iPhone Duo when it is open, the library moves to a sidebar. When iPhone Duo is partially folded like a book, the library fills the left half and the editor the right half, so nothing sits across the fold.

With Sharing on, the Mac offers Handoff. The KidneyHD icon appears in the iPhone's app switcher and on the iPad's Dock. Tap it to open the app on the same preset, connected to that Mac. Handoff needs both devices signed in to the same Apple Account, with Bluetooth and Handoff turned on.
